While walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend making a reservation, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings. Our intimate dining room seats 31 guests, so booking ahead ensures your table is ready. You can reserve easily through our partner platform FindATable.

We are open Tuesday to Friday from 16:30 to 22:00, Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00, and Sunday from 16:00 to 22:00. We are closed on Mondays.

Absolutely! We have a dedicated vegetarian section on our menu featuring dishes like Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Tarka, Aloo Gobi, and Palak Paneer. Several of our dishes are also vegan-friendly. Our Vegetable Samosa and Dal Tarka are popular vegan choices. Please let your server know about any dietary requirements.

Our menu features dishes across all spice levels — from the mild and creamy Chicken Korma (spice level 1) to the fiery Chicken Vindaloo (spice level 5). Each dish on our menu includes a spice meter so you know what to expect. We can also adjust spice levels to your preference — just let us know when ordering.

Yes, The Himalayan Kitchen is a family-friendly restaurant. Children are always welcome, and we can adjust dishes to be milder for younger guests. Our warm, cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for family dinners.

Yes, we have a full bar with a curated selection of beers (including Nepali beer and Kingfisher), wines, spirits, and our signature Khukuri Rum from Nepal. We also offer non-alcoholic options like Masala Chai and Mango Lassi.

We are located at Ten Katestraat 45H, 1053 BX Amsterdam, in the Kinkerbuurt neighborhood (Amsterdam West). Street parking is available nearby (paid). The restaurant is also easily accessible by tram (lines 7 and 17, stop Ten Katestraat) and is a short walk from the Ten Kate Market.
